I was a Lieutenant in charge of scheduling, payroll, reviews, hiring/firing and was a direct report supervisor for thirty eight sergeants, officers and dispatchers at UPMC Children's Hospital for over ten years. I developed and taught a credited situational awareness and self defense class for nursing entitled Conflict Resolution. I stepped down from that position and for the last five years i have been a shift supervisor (Sergeant) at UPMC East.
