I see camping, kayaking, and cycling as important parts of both my health as well as a way for me to experience the real world. I enjoy the aspect of camping because of my fondness of being in the outdoors and seeing Florida's wildlife. Kayaking and cycling to me are just great ways to help stay in shape and also another way to enjoy the Florida's outdoors aside from just camping.

My love of the outdoors stems from my time in Boy Scouts of America, where I learned the importance of conservation as well the means of being a better individual within my community. In addition; Scouts has taught me to show patience as well as learn to cooperate with others in order to meet goals. Through teamwork we together achieved our goal of reaching the rank of Eagle Scout, an achievement that not many are able to reach. Out of a troop of 25 boys, 17 of them have reached the rank of Eagle Scout, myself included, and that is a prideful experience I will never forget. I hope to continue acting on what I was taught during my youth and to be the best that I can be.
