I performed oversight and inspection tasks for various work operations, including: 2' diameter concrete-filled steel pipe pile installation for access trestles and bridge piers; micropile installation for retaining wall installation; formwork and rebar installation for pile caps, bridge piers, and decks; structural steel installation for access trestles and bridge elements; T-wall precast retaining wall installation; concrete and cellular concrete fill placements; excavation and backfill; and rail installation. For work activities that require entry into Amtrak ROW and foul time/track outages, I attend daily safety briefings, verify that the contractor adheres to approved RR submittals, verify that QC personnel properly document RR force accounts, and maintain communication with RR personnel. Submitted daily inspection reports, calculated payment quantities. Assisted the Office Engineer and Resident Engineer with project administrative tasks.
Hunts Point Interstate Access Improvement Contract 1, Client: NYSDOT, Project # D900047, Contract Cost: $453 million.
Roadway replacement and alignment improvements for Bruckner Expressway and Sheridan Boulevard, and installation of new ramps to and from Sheridan Boulevard over Amtrak/CSX Railroad to Hunts Point via Edgewater Road. My responsibilities include working with the contractor's QC inspection staff, the design-build team, and performing inspections of various construction activities to ensure compliance with the RFP, design drawings, and NYSDOT standard sheets/specifications. I performed oversight of field inspectors and coordinated various materials testing tasks. Additionally, for work activities that require entry in Amtrak/CSX ROW and foul time/track outages, I attend daily safety briefings, verify that the contractor adheres to approved RR submittals, verify that QC personnel properly document RR force accounts, act as the onsite liaison for NYSDOT, and maintain communication with RR personnel.

Project: D263413 Preventative Maintenance - Bridge - Cleaning, and Painting of the FDR South Street Viaduct.
Contract cost: $32 million. Title: Chief Coatings/Structural Inspector. Performed oversight and inspection tasks on a variety of operations throughout all phases of construction, including MPT operations, total removal and replacement of existing coatings (including lead abatement), and miscellaneous. Structural Steel and Concrete Repairs. Oversaw the submission and review of daily work reports by inspectors, verified payment quantities, and time and materials records. Verify all work performed per applicable OSHA, NACE, and SSPC standards, and project plans and specifications.
Client: New York City Department of Transportation, Project: HBC-R01B, Component Rehabilitation of 10 Bridges and Pulaski Bridge Bicycle Path, Contract Cost: approx. $16 million Chief Civil/Structural Inspector. Performed inspection tasks on a variety of operations throughout all phases of construction, including MPT operations, cast-in-place concrete elements, roadway waterproofing, paving, structural steel, etc. Worked within Metro North ROW at two of the bridges, coordinated foul time with the supervising flagperson, attended nightly safety briefings, tracked RR force account, and verified the contractor's personnel followed all RR safety policies. Submitted daily inspection reports, calculated payment quantities. Assist the Office Engineer and Resident Engineer with project administrative tasks.
