Research

  • UAB School of Public Health Department of Epidemiology, 2020-2021, Covid-19 Contact Tracer, While Attending the UAB School of Public Health I served as a contact tracer for the ongoing pandemic of Covid-19. During this process I was held responsible for contacting those who had been affected by the worldly virus and ensured to educate those on the proper use of PPE, social distancing, and healthcare clinics to receive treatment and continued education. I am currently the lead Clinical Research Coordinator of the UAB Better BP Study and HIGI VDL Blood Pressure Kiosk. While conducting research for both of these projects I have been responsible for recruitment of participants, screening potential participants, conducting clinical study visits, and drawing blood and processing labs. While working on the UAB Better BP Study I have implemented measures for new recruitment techniques and worked with other hypertension clinics across the United States most notably Columbia University of Medicine.
