My job is to take a file from initial underwrite until closing. I am responsible for ordering appraisal, title, payoffs and collecting all conditions and documentation for all mortgage loans assigned to me. It is my job to keep in contact with the borrowers, agents and closing attorney to ensure a smooth and enjoyable closing process.

Team Lead/Loan Closing Specialist

Advantage Title, LLC
06.2019 - 06.2022

My job was to assist with the Closing Team and fellow closers as the Closing Department Team Lead as well as my own files. I would review scheduled closing instructions assigned to me and prepare a Closing Disclosure for Final Closing while working with the Lender to balance. This included reviewing title work for any liens and to ensure receipt of all payoffs required. I would confirm of property taxes due and mortgage payoffs for accuracy. Once all tasks were complete, I was responsible to review and ensure all documents in the Final Closing Package were complete and accurate to release to the Notary for closing. I prepared the Notary Package for the signing appointment and was available to assist with any questions or issues the Notary had during each signing. Additional duties included running my own closing board as well as assisting with others to ensure all documents were out in a timely manner for the assigned closing time of each file per day as well as the following day through noon time.

Loan Processor/Closer

Allied First Bank
07.2016 - 05.2019

As a Loan Processor I was responsible for the initial loan application process, which included collection of initial information through communication with the borrower and reviewing all signed applications for completion and accuracy. Once I received the applications, my job included collection of all required documentation to submit to lenders for the underwriting process which included requesting title along with the review of title documents received. Once submitted and approved, it was my job to collect any additional conditions the lender required to also include appraisal and payoff requests and updating of the Borrower's homeowner's insurance. Once closed, I was responsible for any funding conditions required.
