Organize and maintain Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) compliant driver documents and files for all drivers employed at SJ.
Coordinate all drivers' re-certification physicals and updates driver physical information in the SJ's databases, and FMCSA files, as required and/or needed.
Advise and provide direction to all drivers to ensure timely renewal and recertification on all required credentials such as CDL license, hazmat endorsement, TWIC, fingerprints/background clearance, passport, and customer training classes.

Oversee, maintain, and create monthly/quarterly/annual reports as required by international, federal, state, and local regulatory authorities and files accordingly.
Oversee compliance for SJ's IFTA database by adding and deleting fleet vehicles, reviewing monthly mileage/fuel for accuracy, and closing out fuel/mileage data each quarter to ensure accurate IFTA filings.
Complete required functions for all audits, safety reports, forms and documentation as directed by the Director of Risk Management.
Complete driver write-ups from Compligo. Research each event to gain enough understanding to speak with the driver regarding the disciplinary action and explain why the decision was made. Ensure that the driver signs off on the write up.
NJDEP inspections - In preparation of the inspection, walk the yard. Check for spills. Ensure that each unit is up-to-date with their decals and lettering. Alert shop and Angelo that the inspection is coming so that they can clean up the yard and the shop. Gather all documentation for the inspector.
