  • Partnered with my co-founder, Brad Garland, to build our scholarship-granting organization from the ground up. The Alabama Accountability Act, passed in 2013, prompted us to create this non-profit organization.
  • Contribute strategic leadership as an active member of the Board of Directors from 'Day 1,' and continue serving on the Board currently twelve years later. I was the board secretary for four years.
  • Regularly assisted our Executive Director in planning our yearly recurring, highly attended events, like the "Back to School Bash" and our "Donor Appreciation Event."
  • Our organization, led by our fantastic Executive Director, raises nearly one million dollars a year. This money goes directly to under-resourced families to provide a scholarship for their child to attend a private school that best meets the needs of the child.
