23 bed Pulmonary Medical Progressive Care Unit at Mission Hospital - Memorial Campus. Level 2, Magnet, Teaching Facility. This unit was all covid patients with oxygen requirements from nasal cannula, high flow nasal cannula, bipap, and ventilator via tracheostomy.
12 bed Medical ICU Stepdown Unit. Level 1 Trauma, Magnet, Teaching Facility. Took care of critically ill and complex medical patients. These patients were often hemodynamically unstable requiring vasoactive and/or anti-arrhythmic drips. Patients on this unit also often needed significant respiratory support including bipap and ventilators via endotracheal or tracheostomy tubes.
16 bed Cardiac Stepdown Unit. Took care of a wide variety of cardiac patients. Those post heart cath, post CABG, those needing anti-arrhythmic drips, heart failure exacerbations, those requiring temporary/permanent pacemakers.
