Excellent judgment, problem resolution, adaptability, communication skills, time management, strong work ethic, decision-making, efficient precision, quick learner, self-motivated! Since a young age I would regularly contribute help to my grandfather’s side business he started after retirement. My father would also regularly help and taught me the most valuable skill to my work ethic, “do it right or do it again” also stating “any work you do carries your name, skill, value, and quality of your work. Your work represents you.” Two lessons I value and remember when it comes to me as a person. Types of work done regularly consists of many carpentry projects and skills such as demolition and demo removal, remodeling kitchens, bathrooms, living spaces, bedrooms, hallways, closets, ceilings, corridors, cabinetry, etc. I learned to be efficient, utilize time, taught something can always be done such as sweeping/cleaning, organizing tools, checking tool quality. I played multiple sports growing up which taught me many valuable skills such as, self- discipline, patience, responsibility, and perseverance. In residential window cleaning I learned very good people and communication skills, especially when I had to be one on one with customers in their own homes. Working in restaurants taught me to work at a fast, efficient pace and to communicate with other members in the kitchen to make sure all food goes out on time and hot knowing the customer wants and deserves to be satisfied.
