Work History

Player Development Coach

Self Employed
Houston , TX
01.2024 - Current
  • Much like my previous position in player development this position entails rigorous physical and mental training. My players receive not just coaching on the baseball side of things but heavy mental development. Ive found developing players mental aspects help them thrive physically. As a coach it allows me to reach them on a different level and access their full potential. It also prepares them for life outside of baseball. I have a deep passion for figuring out different personalities and further understanding how to reach them at the deepest level and unlocking their full potential.

Client Service Technician

Perfection Fireplace and Supply
Houston, TX
02.2023 - 01.2024
  • As a client service technician I was primarily responsible for meeting with builders and homeowners to assure services were provided as promised and expected. Daily operations consisted of reporting to the office to receive our daily jobs list and generate our routes effectively. At every job site we would either meet with a builder or homeowner. These meetings included assuring codes were met in accordance with fire code, so homes could pass inspection prior to closing. During meetings with homeowners, we would address any issues or concerns they had and deal with them accordingly, assuring the highest level of client happiness.

Petty Officer

United States Navy, USN
San Diego, CA
08.2017 - 05.2022
  • I was a part of a helicopter unit tasked with search and rescue in blue water ops. We would perform jumps from helicopters into the ocean for man overboards and pilots down. Obviously, through bootcamp and working my way up to lead petty officer of my unit, I was taught to lead with the utmost attention to detail. My leadership requirements involved training, logistics, education, and the ultimately responsibility for life.

Player Development Coach

New Balance Future Stars Series
Houston, TX
03.2014 - 07.2017
  • As a player development coach I was directly involved with players that came through our system. We worked for all thirty-two MLB organizations serving in off-season development. As an organization we also worked with top high school and college prospects. This involved not only the physical aspects of the game but heavily weighed on the mental aspect. Through our development philosophy we leaned heavily on growing young me into productive adults not only in sports but life in general. Our hands-on approach allowed me to learn and grow into understanding how to work with all personality types.

Professional Baseball Player

San Diego Padres Baseball Club
San DIego, CA
06.2009 - 01.2014
  • I was a professional baseball player for the San Diego Padres. This role required me to maintain peak physical performance while allowing for development in healthy competition. This became a great platform for learning how to become a productive member of a team.
