Co-Instructor of a Reacting to History course for high school students

- This intensive summer course for high school students had students act out historical events. Responsibilities included giving a four-hour lecture on French history from 900 to 1789 and leading a subsequent four-hour debate on 17th- and 18th-century French history, culture, and body politic.
- Lesson planning for 8-hour days; writing examinations in English; and advising students in English.
- By the end of the week-long course, all the students were able to recall nearly 1,000 years of history and culture to ameliorate their oral and written arguments for or against the dethroning of Louis XIV and the French Revolution
Resident Study Abroad Assistant and Teaching Fellow

- Adapted curricula meant for 10-week courses into condensed six-week courses for two intermediate French language and culture classes for 25 undergraduate students in Nantes, France.
- Successfully navigated a COVID-19 outbreak amongst the 25 undergraduates and testing through French hospitals and testing facilities.
- The 2022 Nantes Summer program focused on sustainability and environmental awareness. By the end of the six weeks, each of the 25 undergraduates was able to debate in French about global sustainability practices for at least ten minutes; this was not the case before the immersive summer program.
- Facilitated cultural exchange activities for diverse student groups.
- Coordinated travel logistics and accommodations for program participants.
- Assisted students with academic and personal support during the program.
