Volunteer Work

UW PLANT NURSERY VOLUNTEER

Worked at The UW Plant Nursery in the Center of Urban Horticulture doing native plant restoration and invasive species removal.
I did one shift a week for 3 hours making it a total of 26 hours of work by the end of the school quarter.
Hands on working with other staff and students on propagation and identification of native plants.
Worked in all weather conditions and was prepared every week to do manual labor.


TEEN COUNCIL VOLUNTEER

Member of Teen Council through the Mount Baker Planned Parenthood with over 350 hours of community service throughout the last 3 years of my high school career.
I taught peer led sexual education to middle school and high schools in the local Skagit Valley.
