I am a Pre-Nursing Major with several experiences that have prepared me for this career. I have developed a solid foundation of healthcare skills, and practices to obtain a successful career in nursing. Thus far, my academic journey has equipped me with essential skills such as leadership, effective communication and problem-solving. Additionally, I have gained hands-on experience through volunteering and working with people to enhance abilities needed to be a successful nurse. With a strong passion, and commitment to making a difference in people’s lives around me, I am eager to continue my education and contribute to the nursing profession. I am attending Wayne State College to take courses specific to what is required for nursing school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC), while also taking classes that I feel will set me apart from others in the nursing profession. I have also passed all required tests to obtain my CNA.
