  • Lead instructor since 2005.
  • Responsible for class lectures and maintaining continuity amongst instructors in regards to state PO skills.
  • Develop the class in regards to picking Class lead, Squad leads, PT leads, and filling out the roster to run an efficient class.
  • Lead instructor on 1402/1403 burns with a roster up to 10 instructors and up to 30 recruits. Complete the proper state paperwork in the Command/Safety Role at burn scenarios. Ensure instructor compliance of 1402/1403 requirements.
  • Implemented and built the truck company class and lead instructor at EFSC which was adopted by OFD as part of their (L) certification.

Accomplishments

  • Achieved fire apparatus identification in reserve units with colored placards through effectively helping with apparatus placement on emergency scenes.
  • Achieved implementation of the EFSC truck company class through effectively working with the OFD training Assistant Chief. The truck company class allowed students from the east coast to accomplish their goal.
  • Co-Founder of the Fraternal Order of Leatherhead Society which promotes and preserves the history of the fire service. The "FOOLS" has been a fixture in the fire service since 1995.
