My role as a shipping clerk L3 is to update and follow the daily load plan to maximize utilization and efficiency to control cost and productivity. Moving associates to where the work is and following the schedule to make sure the loads go out on time while making sure proper processes are followed and that Safety is always are number one goal while minimizing failed moves (Atlas) and miss sortes and making sure all CPT’s get processed and loaded accordingly to ensure we meat and exceed our customers expectations.

• Staged and sorted multiple types of products for loading.
• Used pallet jacks to move items to and from warehouse locations.
• Monitored work areas for cleanliness and functionality and removed obstacles for safety.
• Moved large and bulky items manually or with pallet jacks or forklifts.

Set up air and ground lanes to receive and process packages Oversee a team of associates to increase overall productivity while always maintaining the overall safety of the operation

Train new associates in the proper manner to keep the operation safe and operating to meet daily flow and workload

Complete daily scale log to properly document and forward to management

Manage ground lanes and oversee associates to complete all assignments in a timely manner

Communicate with PA’s and upper management to make sure the operation moves along safely and productively until completion

• Started off loading tractor trailers and trucks also worked in local sort and preload

I then got promoted to part time driver supervisor where I delivered routes and learned all aspects of what the driver responsibilities are I held that position for over a year when I was promoted to full time driver supervisor

Being a full time driver supervisor a was in charge of 25 drivers making sure my area and all my customers were serviced every day I trained new drivers covered all aspects of a safe operation and reported directly to the center manager
