Work History

Senior Intelligence Officer

National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, NGA
Springfield, VA
02.2001 - Current

I manage four teams of 40 or more intelligence analysts in analyzing, assessing, and disseminating actionable
intelligence products related to national security threats to senior leaders of the government and military.

Key leader in my agency for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) program/project management.
Manages a team of data scientists and analytic methodologists that create, test and evaluate computer vision and machine learning tools.

Works closely with contracting firms to create and design AI/ML algorithms for Automated Target Recognition,
Change Detection and Crowd Counting. This has directly resulted in a higher efficiency level in accurate detects
and reduces time triaging imagery and data.

Designed a method for counting crowds on imagery and led a small group of agency experts in creating a algorithm and producing tradecraft standard documentation. Since that time my method for counting crowds has been adopted across the Intelligence community and has resulted in more consistent assessments.

Initiated, participated in, and supported a wide range of outreach and collaboration activities for my Agency and
Intelligence community partners to help further strategic thinking.

Member of my Agency Strategy Management Working Group, Structured Observational Management Working
