This was an upstart for a Companion Care model and I worked with the owner to get the medical aspect going. During the first year the model changed to Home Health getting certified for Medicare and Medicaid skilled services. I was responsible for all aspects of the medical model, including the IT, staffing, budgeting, marketing and evaluating potential referrals.

My husband was retiring after 22 years Air Force and 22 years White House Communications Agency(Federal Government). He traveled well over 50% of the time and all the selling of our home and relocating in Texas was my job a year and a half!

• Scheduling Patients for infusion, scheduling Infusion staff.

• I transitioned a 180, bed long term care facility into a completely Medicare skilled facility with three 60 bed units and the admission average was approx. 750 patients a year per unit.
