Duties & Responsibility as Facility Manager: I manage the day-to-day operations at a HMA batch plant. From the production you see when you are driving on the roads to testing making sure we are in tolerance of our specification for that job. I handle the ordering of aggregates, asphalt binder and anything that needs to be ordered to get the job done for that day. At our facility I manage 10 employees. I believe communication & respect is really important to keep a good work environment.

I also work on Daily reports for the plant and for our clients. I Constantly work with our clients on a daily basis, to make sure our clients are getting quality HMA and if we are having any problems, we need to fix it and trouble shot the problem instantly. I so calculate daily usage and the forecast for the next day, next week, and next month. I also deal with delinquent payments and follow up on payments and try to solve any issues we have if there is a payment issue.

Duties & Responsibility: Running our daily Quality Control test at our HMA Plant. We preform daily quality control test on various mixes throughout the day to make sure we are in spec. and producing Quality Asphalt to our Clients. I may make changes to the Asphalt mix to keep it within tolerance without sacrificing quality. We also have quality control technician's that go out into the fields and take compaction of the roads, parking lots, etc. I input our daily results into my stone mount, to hand over to our plant manager. I need to keep up with our Nuclear Gauge Paperwork and make sure our Leak Test & Calibrations are up to date & our Dosimetry Readers are read every 3 Months. I answer questions that a client might have and go over the Job Specifications with them if need be. Every year I need to renew our mix designs and certify it with the State, City and Federal Specs.
