Keonnie Elliott

Wawa was my first job, I began working here as a freshman in high school and I've been there for 4 years now. During my time with Wawa, I've learned a lot of things, been given multiple responsibilities, and I believe it's prepared me for my future endeavors. While working with the public I've come across a lot of people allowing me to develop my social skills, and resolve conflicts. In my opinion, some of my strengths that I've acquired while working in customer service are applicable to the healthcare setting. For instance, working with my team to achieve a common goal, being placed in a leadership role, and my multi-tasking abilities.

Additionally I:

• Maintained calm demeanor and professionally managed issues in busy, high-stress situations.
• Boosted customer satisfaction levels through exceptional service, addressing concerns promptly, and providing a welcoming store environment.
• Collaborated with team members to improve overall store performance, sharing best practices, and offering support as needed.

I also have experience working in childcare, I've spend some time volunteering at a childcare facility providing care to children ranging from 2-5 years of age. I had the opportunity of working as a teacher's assistant in which I participated in many aspects of daily classroom life. This included working with the children during nap time, helping them play outside, and assisting them in engaging with activities and games that stimulated cognitive development. This experience was positive in the sense that it strengthened my soft skills, such as patience and empathy. Additionally, my experience working at the childcare center helped me determine my future career path. After graduating, I would like to continue working with children. I am very grateful for that entire experience and opportunity.
