Full Time: 40 hours/week

• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in a fast-paced, 24/7 acute observation unit specializing in pre/post-procedural care, outpatient infusions, and short-stay medical management (≤48 hours).
• Administer IV therapies including blood products; manage and maintain short- and long-term intravenous access devices in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely care, education, and discharge planning, often within 24 hours of patient admission.
• Support and coordinate medical consults, track follow-up diagnostics, and assist in prioritizing urgent access needs, contributing to efficient patient flow.

• Assist physicians with complex or potentially life-threatening procedures.
• Administer special medications via oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intradermal.
• Perform various pulmonary ventilation treatments such as administration of oxygen and compressed air through various means.
• Maintain invasive lines and dressings as prescribed by Infection Control Policies/Procedures and Guidelines.
• Provide patient and family counseling in order to provide support and information on possible reactions to medications, health maintenance and illness prevention.

• Provide care for a variety of patients including strokes, GI bleeds, covid19, heart failure, DKA, ARDS, sepsis, NSTEMI.
• Float to different units on a weekly basis including neuro ICU, Telemetry, and Cardiac ICU.
• Assess patients' condition, notified physicians of clinical changes as well as prepared and implemented patient care plans.

Full Time: 36 hours/week

• Assess and evaluate patient care needs and applying critical thinking skills in patient care management.
• Provide inpatient nursing care to intensive care patients receiving treatment on a COVID-19 unit.
• Monitor patients' respiratory status, report inadequate ventilation and decline in status to physician.
• Administer paralytic, sedative, vasoactive, and anticoagulant infusions per physician order.
• Educate patients and caregivers on diagnoses, disease management, preventative measures, medication use and self-care.

• Provide care for multiple critical diagnoses including COVID-19, acute stroke, intracranial hemorrhage, and subarachnoid hemorrhage.

• Assist health care providers in providing care for patients with skeletal injuries, tracheostomy, and medical surgical patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
• Closely assess and monitor patients for complications before and after procedures and report to healthcare providers in a timely manner to ensure patients safety.

• Educate patients and their family on how to safely recover from surgeries or injuries at home.
