  • Solely responsible for managing all human resources functions for 5 hotels and corporate offices in Wyoming, accountable for 350-400 employees.
  • Recruit for all positions within the company-local workers, Workampers and foreign visa workers. Maintain and track all applicants. Ensure all new hires are onboarded properly and eligible to work in the US using E-Verify.
  • Facilitate employee terminations, disciplinary actions and performance evaluations.
  • Manage all Worker’s Compensation claims, Unemployment claims & hearings, FMLA requests and approvals and minor worker compliance. Represent company at hearings.
  • Handle all employee complaints, sexual harassment claims and incidents at all properties. Implement all investigations. Coach employees and management through these processes.
  • Develop and implement new company policies and SOPs. Maintain the Employee Handbook. Ensure all policies are compliant with local, state and federal laws.
  • Manage six H2b visa petitions and extensions for April to October with an average of 60 foreign workers each season from up to 3 different countries. Facilitate travel all travel in and out of country. Manage all compliance of the program. Manage all visa worker housing.
  • Generate all Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly reporting to local and government agencies (Semi-Monthly/Quarterly Labor Reports, BLS, OSHA-300, EEOC-1).
  • Assist payroll department with employee timekeeping, wage evaluations, and benefits management using Kronos, PrimePay and Paycom.

  • Managed all aspects a new luxury glamping resort with 66 tents and a full-service restaurant with a liquor license on 100 acres adjacent to Zion National Park. The camp is completely off grid running on Solar Power and utilizing a Reverse Osmosis system and well for water. Camp opened August 2017. Recorded a profit by year end of 2018.
  • Directed all operations of the front desk, guest services, maintenance, F&B in a challenging outdoor desert environment.
  • Prepared and executed an operating budget of $4.1 million. The camp had never had an operating budget until my leadership. Oversee capital projects and expenditures.
  • Hired and managed a team of 48 across guest services, F&B and operations departments, developing structure, implementing processes, integrating systems, and coaching to improve performance. Implemented all HR functions. Managed employee housing and housing issues.
  • Ensured compliance with SOP’s, policies, procedures, service standards, local, state and federal laws.
  • Managed on-going profitability of the camp, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets were met and exceeded.
