  • I revise and update operational memorandums to implement policies and maintain compliance with American Correctional Association (ACA) standards. I train staff in ACA file preparation and overall preparation for internal and external accreditation audits. Additionally, I direct facility staff to administrative policies, procedures, and processes and answer public inquiries on a daily basis as Public Information Officer.
  • I have completed three internal ACA audits (2020, 2021 & 2022) while employed in this position, and received 100% on all mandatory and non-mandatory files during all three audits. I respond to inquiries, interpret legal documents, and create correspondence on behalf of the Warden. I research, calculate and prepare complex statistical documents and reports, to include Escape packets for walk away inmates which includes drafting arrest affidavits for the NDCS investigators.
  • I have daily contact with judges, trial court clerks and staff, attorneys, bailiffs and the public in answering questions about inmate court hearings and procedures. I perform a variety of administrative duties as required or asked. I work daily in Microsoft office, Excel, Outlook, and Word in order to perform administrative, technical, statistical and operations research.
  • I review and evaluate administrative records and reports and supervise the CCC-L records manager. I research and compile escape packets, tort claims and litigation reports when needed which requires a high level of confidentiality as well as superior organizational, investigative and proofreading skills. During my time in this position, I have been involved with two internal audits in which both were passed with a 100% completion on both mandatory and non-mandatory files.
