All duties associated with the job title Senior Load Serving Operator. Maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work responsibilities or environment. Oversite of transmission functions and transactions with high regard to reliability and compliance of all rules and regulations. I have been trained and signed off on three different jobs; Balancing Desk, Interchange Desk, as well as Transmission Operator. I have, and continue to stay current with all training and job functions.

Day to day utility systems operation, as well as, scheduled and unscheduled switching. This also includes the function and operating characteristics of distribution and sub transmission lines and substation equipment. Outage Management Systems and SCADA; Idaho Power Company safety practices; Black Start and Load Management procedures; Skills in interpersonal communication; Use of common computer applications; Ability to work in a high-performance work team that requires each member to be highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and an active participant in the team process; Set goals to aid in the development of myself as well as co-workers; Retain composure and function effectively under extreme pressure; Recognize and set priorities.

Install, remove, inspect and maintain overhead and underground lines and equipment; Perform switching operations on lines and equipment; Perform duties associated with restoration of electric service; Operate equipment such as line trucks, aerial lift trucks, pulling equipment and backhoes; Perform work as required to install, remove, inspect, and seal electrical meters; Report any hazards or damage observed to District lines, poles, facilities, transformers, etc; Train Apprentice Linemen and other personnel in job-related operations; Perform hazardous waste spill control and clean-up; Inspect work done by contractors on District lines equipment and facilities.

Involved in construction and renovation of new and old substations; Installation of metal clad and SCADA equipment, tap changers, and air brake switches, as well as lead cable spices and get away inspections across company property.
