Developing system requirements for the payload laboratory of the Starlab Space Station as part of the Commercial Low-Earth Destination program. Performing trade studies to determine scientific hardware that will meet the needs of our research partners onboard the station. Generated Concept of Operations and Interface Requirement documents. Working in a cross-functional team to develop a platform that can provide support to commercial payloads.

• Performs simulations using finite element analysis tools (MSC Nastran and MATLAB) to analyze dynamic responses and loads during satellite launches
• Involved in Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) processes to compare analytical results to measured flight data gathered from Falcon 9, Delta IV, and Atlas V launch vehicle systems
• Processes simulation data and perform trajectory/performance/guidance analyses to ensure compliance with mission design requirements
• Interfaces with Launch Service Provider (LSP) personnel to resolve related technical issues in support of mission integration activities.

• Characterized measurement uncertainty of various testing facilities at the NASA Glenn Research Center to verify data integrity and accuracy
• Utilized Monte Carlo simulation method to determine the effects of random and systematic uncertainty
• Generated data flow diagrams to visualize how data was being captured and how uncertainty propagates throughout a system from calibration to customer testing
• Performed trade-off analyses on different instrumentation to influence decisions on purchases to reduce the overall measurement uncertainty and improve data quality.

• Implemented program to perform statistical analysis on code repositories and automatically generate status reports for development milestones
• Initiated development of unit testing for legacy code to mitigate issues during software integration
• Tested and evaluated software applications for multi-platform avionics system in an agile environment to meet stakeholder requirements.

• Developed system architecture for avionics upgrades for foreign and domestic military aircraft
• Performed flight deck systems testing on avionics for C-130, KC-10 and KC-135 aircraft programs in accordance with MIL-STD specifications
