• Trained and oversaw new hires as they learned and honed their medication management, patient assessment and collaborative skills to take care of critically ill patients in the intensive care setting.

Clinical training

• Collaborated with pulmonary and critical care doctors during procedures (i.e.,bronchoscopy, thoracentesis, paracentesis) by monitoring vital signs, gathering supplies and administering medications for moderate sedation.
• Managed a wide variety of critically ill patients (ESRD, Septic Shock, Liver Failure, CHF, ARDS, etc) in a 16 bed unit by utilizing hemodynamic monitoring (i.e., Arterial line, Vigileo), IV drug therapy management and meticulous patient assessment.

• Provided comprehensive and efficient care in Medical, Neuro and Burn ICU throughout various different healthcare systems ranging from 10 to 30 bed units. Developed a high adaptability mindset and prioritized building a rapport with staff to promote positive patient outcomes.

• Developed critical thinking, medication management and patient assessment skills in a 16 bed unit as a new graduate.
• Managed critically ill COVID-19 patients requiring multiple IV drugs (i.e., vasopressor/inotropes, sedatives, paralytics, etc), airway management and comprehensive patient assessment.
