Though never certified, I did operate a D3 bulldozer for a day, and a John Deere 450 while making additional miles of ski trails
Additionally, I've operated Case, Bobcat, and Gehl skid stears All were while making new or improving old ski and hiking trails
I've used mini excavators several times to remove blacktop from a roadway, and to install culverts in parking lot entrances

Ordained Catholic Permanent Deacon (2009 - Present) I serve primarily St. Anthony Catholic Church in Superior.
I was nominated for this award because of my law enforcement efforts on the Brule River State Forest, where I was in charge of all law enforcement activities, including scheduling, patrolling, citation issuance, tracking/documenting annual LE cases, and testifying in court monthly as the court officer. I became a tactical instructor for the north west district, and I along with other tactical instructors would plan and hold quarterly shoots in Park Falls, Minocqua, Superior, and Tilden. I was certified to teach tactical firearms using handgun, shotgun, and AR-15 rifle. I was also a AR-15 armorer and Remington 870 armorer. I patrolled the 47,000 acre Brule River State Forest and made numerous cases in timber theft, fish and game violations, break and entry theft, and drug use, along with campground violations.
