I am an experienced and knowledgeable licensed MMC senior tankerman nearing his 3rd issue endorsement. I’m working towards getting in the wheelhouse with an apprentice mate steersman endorsement. I have a long history of training and cutting loose new recruits. I’ve been awarded and received accolades for my professionalism, client satisfaction, and my job performance from other oil companies and their clients. I also help run a historical and family business.
I am one of the Managing Partners at Kenneally’s Irish Pub with a proven track record in revenue growth and strategic planning. Recognized for training and developing talent, I thrive on empowering others to succeed while ensuring operational excellence.
This was a family run business, I worked on towboats 7 years prior. From 2005-2012. My father who ran this got sick, and I came home to assist and help
With our family restraunt. He passed away in Nov 2013. Since then I have been working in hospitality. I’ve learned the importance of customer relationships and vendors. I’ve overseen accounts, payroll and those taxes, inventory, and employee management. I’ve handled the books for 10 years- and have learned and taught myself a great deal about this type of business.
Achieved senior-level tankerman position within four years of returning to the company.
and am very good at what I do- I’m the guy people can count on when the job can’t have mistakes and needs to get done. It’s have helped train and “cut loose” many new tankerman. I have recieved many accolades and letters of achievements- coast guard, this company, and various chief engineers and representatives of oil companies. I’m a very hard working & dedicated employee.
While doing my normal daily duties as advanced bunker tankerman, I was also trying to further my experience and career towards a mate pilot/ captain. My job was to transfer product from barge to either a vessel/ship or a refinery dock. I would maintain and check for proper & safe procedures and at the same time train and oversee a new tankerman trainee during the transfer or job. As far as the apprenticeship went, any time I was able to the vessel was underway or maneuvering I would try to gain time and experience by controlling the vessel and learn how it all operates.
