I am a US Coast Guard licensed Captain of 6 years with experience on traditionally rigged sailing ships and power vessels. Proficient in maintaining safe operations using navigational equipment, radio communication, planning/awareness of obstacles, weather monitoring and route planning. My drive as a leader is to enthusiastically teach and encourage crew development and passion. With guests or students onboard, I run the ship so that their needs are met and have a enjoyable time. I have more than 13,000 miles navigation experience (offshore and inland) doing charters, deliveries, sail training, guiding, marine engineering and personal cruising.
