- Abundant experience with using AWIPS by analyzing satellite/radar imagery, climatological and hydrometeorological data, and monitoring weather conditions using various surface and upper air observations.
- Experience with providing weather information to the general public by answering phone calls. I also have experience with issuing TAFs and writing the aviation section of the AFD using forecast products to send them out to the general public, along with disseminating social media posts for the NWS Mobile Twitter and Facebook accounts.
- Developed strong organizational and communication skills by managing tasks and working with other forecasters.
- Assisted in the Tornado Tag Project which will improve tornado warning criteria and severe weather operations.
