From 1999 to 2002, I worked as a program coordinator for Cradle To Classroom. This was a program where I supervised 300 family advocates who went out and served 3,700 teen moms and 250 teen dads from 56 high schools in Chicago. This program eliminated the 50% drop out rate amongst teens in Chicago. I was also Vice President of the NBRPA (National Basketball Retired Players Association) Houston Chapter. Where I established a memorandum of understanding with Space Center Houston-NASA, providing an educational initiative in S.T.E.M. We adopted two Charter Schools that produced over 75 scholarships to students. where 35 of them went to Alabama state, and 12 of the 35 graduated in 4years. I was also an Educational Consultant working with Tennessee State University, providing relationships that produced the largest HBCU freshman class of 3,552 students showing up in 2022. I also established an International MOU with a school in Nigeria, where they were also sending students to Tennessee State for educational purposes. Over the last 12 years, I have been a part of facilitating and providing connection to more than $35 million in scholarships to students who have a 3.0 GPA or better.
