- Weigh or measure, label and assembly approved raw materials to be used in the manufacture of marketed or clinical products.
- Verify the accuracy of the name, control number, item code, expiration date and weight of all raw materials to be used in marketed or clinical products.
- Verify the name and lot number of the product that the raw materials are to be used in.
- Use safety equipment that is appropriate and consistent with the raw material being weighed.
- Produce labels and assure that all raw materials are labeled as to chemical toxicities according to OSHA Hazard Communications guidelines.
- Check the weighting's of co-workers and verify their accuracy.
- Move approved raw materials from the quarantine area to the Pharmacy warehouse.
- Move required raw materials from the warehouse to the Pharmacy where they will be weighed.
- Assure that the Pharmacy and the warehouse are kept clean.
- Assure that the forklifts are checked out daily and in proper working order.
- Observe color, smell and properties for raw materials. - - Report any control number differences to the Manager of Production or Group Leader.
- Primary trainer of inexperienced personnel.
