I am a 22 year old young man who decided to serve a full time mission for a period of 24 months. Out of all the positions and various jobs i've had, serving a mission was ultimately what helped me the most not only in my personal life, but in my professional life a well. As a full time missionary i mainly learned how to work with various groups of people with different backgrounds and adjust to my environment regardless of where i was. Customer service skills were definitely essential attributes i was able to develop throughout those years and have helped me to not only work with all kinds of clients but work among all kinds of employees. Out of all the many things i was able to learn as a full time missionary, the most important one that i learned was identifying peoples needs before. they would tell me what their problem was and having the answer for every person i taught before they would ask me their questions. I think the secret to success is genuinely loving every person you talk to or encounter and actually being willing to help them not only for the pay but because its part of who we can become. Learning how to magnify your calling, assignment, task, etc has opened many doors for me and will continue to help many people who strive to do more than they are asked in their assigned task. All these amazing things i learned throughout those 2 years have helped me with customers when i worked for Amazon and are currently helping me with my clients doing pest control now. I not only believe but i know that the main key to be successful is by having the Lord be at the center of all you do. He can truly give you instructions on how to go about doing your job and how you can perform to the best of your ability.
