As the project progressed, assumed expanded field safety responsibilities by leveraging prior experience from Moody Air Force Base. Acted as on-site field safety support under the direction of the Safety Manager, serving as his representative during periods when he was off-site. Conducted routine safety observations, monitored worker activity and equipment usage, and documented conditions to support ongoing safety oversight and compliance.

Provided operational support to the Project Manager by assisting with field documentation, including jobsite photography for daily reporting and progress tracking. Represented project leadership on-site during brief absences, supporting communication, coordination, and continuity of field operations.

Supported safety oversight for excavation, grading, concrete placement, and site preparation activities, with continued involvement anticipated for upcoming utility installations, electrical work, temporary facilities, walkways, and associated infrastructure scopes. Served as the on-site Environmental Health and Safety Technician for a large-scale, $83 million hurricane recovery project under a U.S. Air Force contract at Moody Air Force Base. Oversaw compliance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA regulations, and all federal construction safety standards. Provided full-time field supervision supporting safety and operations across numerous concurrent project sites, ensuring compliance with EM 385-1-1, OSHA regulations, and federal construction safety standards. Actively supported implementation and enforcement of the project Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and site-specific safety programs.

Monitored and coordinated safety oversight for a wide range of construction activities, including interior and exterior demolition, mold remediation, wind-damaged roof removal and replacement (standing seam metal roofing), tree cutting and disposal, and general building repairs such as drywall, flooring, painting, door and window replacement, fencing installation, and water intrusion mitigation. Additionally, supported electrical and low-voltage scopes, including panel repairs, wiring replacement, lighting restoration, site lighting, data/telecom cabling, and security camera installations.

Conducted routine jobsite inspections, equipment checks, and hazard assessments; documented deficiencies and tracked corrective actions through field reports and spot inspections used in formal safety and project reporting. Delivered bilingual (English/Spanish) subcontractor orientations and daily hazard briefings, tailoring safety communication to specific trade activities and workforce composition.

Maintained close coordination with project managers, fellow safety staff, subcontractors, and base personnel to support safe work execution, field documentation, and operational continuity across multiple active sites.

Served as a multi-functional Operations Administrator for a startup hospitality business, supporting day-to-day operations, logistics, and brand development across multiple areas of the organization.
