Summary

Born in Iran, I immigrated alone to Austria and later the United States at 16 years of age to pursue a strong education in my beloved field of Neurosurgery. Having experienced the challenges of a revolution, a war and political instability in Iran, I set out to focus on education and acquiring the skills and innovative techniques in Neurosurgery in order to better serve my patients and field.

My clinical practice of nearly 22 years thrived by mastering my work and forming relationships with my patients and their families by navigating their care with trust and empathy during vulnerable and challenging times in their lives. Many of my referrals were indeed from my former patients, and not just my professional colleagues.

During my years of training and practice, I collaborated very closely and diligently with various medical device companies in the industry, providing ongoing feedback in and out of the operating room to advance technology and surgical methodology.

Having undergone multiple spine surgeries, I retired from clinical practice in 2021 and have since been focusing on my health, family and recovery. At this time, however, I look forward to utilizing my expertise and problem-solving capabilities to re-engage in the medical community and provide my knowledge and experience to the field.

A true citizen of the world, I am a highly motivated professional with desire to learn and take on new challenges. I am adept at working effectively unsupervised and quickly mastering new skills.

I sincerely look forward to the opportunity to share my medical knowledge, experience and unique background in my future endeavors. I also believe my strong work ethics, international adaptability and excellent interpersonal skills will be a good addition to your team.

I thank you for your time and consideration.
