• On January 14th 2025 I presented and spoke to the Michigan state board of education in Lansing on my art portfolio (Soul search and Self worth) and how that influences the education inclusion act on Native American and African American students to make a change for integration of heritage in the Midwest and on a national standpoint.
• My presentation aided in the Michigan legislation focused on K-12 education which included bills for culturally inclusive history (African American & Native American), expanding Career & Technical Education (CTE), and new safety commissions, alongside federal actions impacting immigrant students, with ongoing efforts to update the Michigan Indian Tuition Waiver reporting and potentially mandate Native American regalia at ceremonies.
