- Supported overhaul work on Steam Turbines starting with the removal of the guard and coupling all the way to start up of the machine post-overhaul.
- Performed overhauls from beginning to completion on multiple types of machines including Centrifugal Compressors, Reciprocal Compressors, Single screw Extruders, Dual Screw Extruders, Mixers Pumps, Gearboxes, Motors
- Assisted with bearing replacements on radial and thrust bearings during every turnaround.
- Performed inspections and replacements of many different types of seals including, but not limited to Dry Gas seals.
- Proficient use of precision tools to accurately perform jobs, including but not limited to: Inside Micrometer, Outside Micrometer, Depth Micrometer, Dial Calipers, Dial Indicators, Parallel Blocks, Snap Gauges, Precision Levels, Feeler Gauges, 196 Kits, etc.
- Performed numerous alignments on a multitude of machines and turbine diaphragms using indicators, ROTALIGN, and a Metrology laser (FARO)
- Worked alongside many engineers to thoroughly document all as found and as left measurements and recordings.
- Operated heavy equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, scissor lifts, JLG telehandlers, etc...
- Followed lockout tagout procedures and plant safety standards during maintenance work.
- Worked successfully with a diverse group of coworkers to accomplish goals and address issues related to our services.
- Successfully worked in many different environments due to travel. Performing overhauls in, but not limited to Exxon Beaumont, Exxon Baytown, Lyondell Channelview, Lyondell Clinton, Lyondell Morris, Lyondell LaPorte, Lyondell Victoria, Lyondell Matagorda, Lyondell Pasadena, Kuraray Poval, Kuraray Eval, Invista Houston, Koch Fort Dodge, Koch Enid, Koch Brandon Manitoba, P66 Lake Charles, Westlake Sulphur, etc.
