Summary

An accomplished Cardiothoracic Surgeon with expertise in routine and complex cardiothoracic surgeries, as well as in endovascular aortic surgery. With advanced formal fellowship training and extensive experience, I have successfully performed over 2,000 transcatheter aortic valve therapies and am currently serving as a Principal Investigator on mitral valve trials. In addition to my clinical work, I hold leadership roles as the Surgical Director of the Structural Heart and Valve Center, demonstrating a commitment to advancing patient care and surgical techniques. My dedication to education is evident through involvement in educational programs for NYU medical students, clinical presentations, and preceptorship. Furthermore, my contributions to the field are recognized by my role in writing board exam questions for the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and as a frequent guest speaker at prestigious organizational meetings such as the American College of Surgeons. Overall, I am focused on delivering high-quality care to patients, driving advancements in cardiothoracic surgery, and staying current with evolving techniques in the field.
