The Fleet Shop Assistant provides essential support to the fleet maintenance operations by assisting mechanics and technicians with various tasks, maintaining shop cleanliness and organization, and ensuring the efficient flow of parts and supplies. This role is crucial for keeping the fleet in optimal working condition and minimizing downtime.


Vehicle Maintenance Support:

  • Perform basic vehicle inspections and checks.
  • Wash and detail vehicles as required.
  • Assist with moving vehicles between the shop and storage yard, and job sites.
  • Assist with minor repairs such as flat tires and battery replacement.
  • Use powered hand tools to upfit new trucks with basic equipment needed for job sites which consist of Air compressors, Hose reels, Water tanks, Tool boxes, Generators, Vise Mounts, Shovel racks, and cages for propane tanks.
