Affiliations

  • CityServe (Jan 2019-Jan 2021 ) As a volunteer of the Olive Knolls Church CityServe POD, I helped connect local families in need with special items requested (furniture, clothing, food, etc). While volunteering, I was a small piece on the larger scale that helped hurting families rebuild in the community while spreading God's Love in the process. I often arranged the scheduling of volunteers and transportation on delivery days to provide community members with donated goods, and I attended monthly meetings to ensure efficacy and productivity were at their best.
  • Celebrate Recovery Kitchen Helper/Small Group Leader (Jan 2019-Present) I assist in the kitchen at Olive Knolls Celebrate Recovery. This outreach feeds the community weekly dinner, as well as provides a Christ-Centered Recovery Group focusing on hurts, habits and hangups (essentially any type of mental health issues). My role as a Small Female-Group Leader is to guide the individuals through a support group session under the Celebrate Recovery Guidelines and ensure the safety of the participants present.
