My participation in the Hawaii 4-H, and participating in multiple rodeo competitions, provided me continued growth in becoming more familiar with animal husbandry. I have also had the opportunity to observe the performance of various veterinarians while in Hawaii 4-H.

I'm dependable, hardworking, and passionate about animal husbandry, and have an ever growing passion to care, tend and raise animals. I am always eager to learn new things to expand my knowledge and work experience.

I possess great customer service skills, computer experience and believe that communication is key in the workplace, and with customers. I always strive to provide the best customer service and have the willingness to take on added responsibilities with a positive attitude and outlook.

Being part of the Kapaau Veterinary Center as a receptionist, will allow me to be in an environment where I understand the dialogue and conversations of animal care. My goal is to build fluency in areas that I may not have learned about yet in veterinary care, so I can provide the best customer service to the clients and patients of the Kapaau Veterinary Center.

Since I was a young child I was always taken on hunting and fishing trips and my love for horses, horseback riding and rodeo came from my constant exposure to these activities. My father and grandfather were animal lovers and animal husbandry was a way of life in our household. My family has always done home gardening and farming of various produce for home consumption. Living off the land and being in the outdoors is part of life for me and my family and I look forward to many more years of continuing the practice of these activities.
