AVID Student

AVID (Advanced Via Individual Determination)

This remedial program provides students with a new way of thinking and learning and is also for students who would be the first in their family to attend college. It provides academic support with a goal for their students to become educated and responsible when it comes to democratic society. That being said, grades must be passing and they must have an acceptional attendance. Overall, AVID helps economically disadvantaged students in being able to maintain college level and global readiness skills.
