• Marketing 330 – Product Development & Market Strategy Simulation
During my coursework at New Jersey Institute of Technology, I participated in a semester-long team project focused on developing and marketing a new shoe product. Students were divided into teams of eight and tasked with creating a product designed for a specific target audience while developing marketing strategies for both domestic and international markets.
Working closely with another team member, I helped develop marketing and pricing strategies for our product. I also analyzed weekly sales performance data and wrote reports over the eight-week simulation explaining how our strategy would be adjusted each week to improve sales and maintain competitiveness. My analysis and recommendations helped guide decisions regarding pricing, marketing, and product positioning.
Our team finished second overall out of eight competing groups, achieving strong results in the simulation with highly positive returns. The data analysis I conducted, along with the strategic suggestions I provided to the group each week, helped our team remain competitive and nearly achieve first place in overall sales performance.
