For my second travel assignment I stayed local and re-signed in a different department at Beth Israel Lahey Health Boston, MA 02115.

I re-signed with their Outpatient Radiation Oncology Department as a Travel RN.

I was primarily hired to monitor patients who were scheduled to have CT Mapping sessions done for their upcoming radiation treatment. This included RN assessments, triage, and pre-medicating patients who needed it. I also monitored labs for IV contrast administration, IV contrast safety questionnaires, PORT accessing and de-accessing, education and teachings regarding upcoming radiation treatment, and experiences.
