I supported my mentor in the classroom daily by reducing her workload and allowed her more time to work with her mentor program.

I gained a wealth of knowledge about building lesson plans, where to find additional resources to support students learning, and I learned several new and engaging activities to help keep my students actively engaged in my future lessons.

I sorted, organized, and graded student papers, assessments, and important files. I was also responsible for keeping spreadsheets and the grade book up to date and accurate.

I gained hands-on experience in various software programs such as school city, focus, power point, and Dreambox.

I was interning in a First grade classroom.

I assisted with grading papers, helping in small groups, and I attended the First grade field trip.

I assisted with student leadership notebooks, and helped organize leadership day within our classroom when District members walked through selected classrooms to display how we utilized Leader in Me within our school and classrooms.

I attended several grade level meetings and planning days.

I was interning in a Second Grade English and Social Studies classroom.

Supported my mentor teacher in their daily tasks, taught several lessons, attended several parent teacher conferences, and participated in several PBIS activities like game day.

I assisted with special events and programs such as chaperoning class field trips and attending STEM nights.

I supported engaging, fun, and smooth-running events by helping with organization and planning.

I did my first internship in a Fifth grade Math and Science classroom with the teacher voted teacher of the year.

I supported my mentor teacher in creating and utilizing review games to prepare students for the the FAST test.

Assisted in Science Wars which was a monthly activity all fifth graders participated in to review science standards to review for the FAST.
