I maneuvered heavy loads around lumberyard with materials handling equipment and forklifts. I regularly inspected logs for defects and provided measurements for volume determination. I checked, cleaned and maintained chainsaws and other equipment each day to ensure working order. I also practiced safe protective measures and lock out tag out protocols while inspecting machines.

I was responsible for the safe removal of shell, gates and risers from parts to produce rough casting. I Removed shell from basic/non-complex parts using the jack hammer, water blaster, sandblaster and hand tools. I utilized the cutting torch and band saw to cut smaller, non-complex parts. My work conditions were noisy, dirty, and wet. But I remained safe at all times. The tools and equipment that was used daily were the water blaster, sand blaster, band saw, jack hammer, caustic tank, fork lift, cutting torch, abrasive saw, and bridge crane.

While I worked here I fabricated and altered parts with metal hammers, punches, drills and shears. I operated heavy machinery to prepare metal products according to customer specifications I also Interpreted blueprints and schematics to determine duct placement.

I Prepared inventory for shipment by attaching tags and labels, preparing shipment documents and securing products on pallets. I Tracked inventory, conducted cycle counts and audits and resolved issues to maintain accurate records.

During my employment with this company my responsibilities included: 

Pouring new concrete, laying concrete forms, finishing concrete, reading blueprints, tying rebar cages together with wire, responsible for promoting a safe and clean working environment.

During my employment with this company my responsibilities included: 

Removing old roofing materials in an efficient manner, replacing tack paper, laying new roofing tiles, used measuring instruments to inspect parts,  reviewed project drawings to perform installation activities according to specifications, debris clean up, and installing new gutters and downspouts.

During my employment with this company, my responsibilities included:

Installing, repairing and rebuilding tile, brick and stone surfaces,  demolition of old homes,  painting, cleaning the finished house, working overtime, including evenings and weekends to make sure jobs were completed in a timely manner, assisted skilled workers with construction projects in all phases of rough and finish carpentry.
