stay at home mom

The last few years i have been a stay at home mom due to my son having a disability and being let go from the last job I had due to my sons illness and them needing someone to be there and i couldn't therefore i was let go of and i totally understood them having to let me go. My son is 5 years old and he is special needs, He has cerebral palsy, ataxia, dystonia, autism, cdk19 mutation and mitochondrial disease. I take him weekly for occupational therapy and physical therapy at temple memorial pediatrics in texarkana tx and they are wonderful with him, I also have a 14yr old stepson that is autistic, I have a lot of experience with special needs children and having special needs kids has truly made me grow as a person and i wouldn't trade my boys for the world, We have a total of 6 kids, 2 girls and 4 boys full time. I have took a few years off to stay home and also to get my 5yr old more on the stable side before I started to look for a job because I want to be able to go to work and also be committed to my job as i used to could not be because he stayed so sick and we stayed in the hospital a lot and it was just impossible to hold down a job but now he is stable and things are looking up therefore i am ready to get back to work.
