Performs detection, monitoring, sampling, warning and reporting of chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear (CBRN) events. Provides expert advice for commanders to make risk-based decisions during all phases of emergency response operations. Participates in exercises and drills to test emergency response capabilities and identify areas for improvement. Instructs 4-hour CBRN Defense Survival Course for service members.

Facilitated communications for 16 units within 446 Airlift Wing. Aided in development and inspection of Wing-wide command and control exercise. Aided in unit vertical inspections.

Performed operation checks and maintenance of all response and Emergency Operations Center equipment. Aided in hands-on CBRN Defense training. Learned to conduct installation risk assessments and vulnerability analyses. Trained in emergency response to detect, identify, quantify, and collect CBRN material to ensure mission continuation and force survivability.
