
Compassionate and dedicated emerging professional with hands-on training to provide emergency care to patients in a variety of critical, life-threatening and often dangerous situations. • Provide advanced clinical support in a Level III Pediatric Trauma Emergency Department, assisting physicians and nurses in the management of acute pediatric illnesses and injuries.
• Perform paramedic-level patient assessment, identify early signs of deterioration, and promptly communicate critical findings to the care team.
• Receive and stabilize patients arriving via helicopter transport, ensuring rapid triage and seamless transfer of care.
• Assist with advanced procedures including laceration repairs, lumbar punctures, splinting, wound care, and procedural sedation preparation.
• Support trauma activations and emergency interventions in high-acuity pediatric cases.
• Monitor patients for clinical trends and emergent changes in condition, contributing to early recognition of pediatric emergencies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
• Active member of the ED Unit Based Council, Behavioral Health Committee, and Sunshine Committee, contributing to departmental improvement, staff engagement, and patient-centered initiatives.
