Amongst this, I possess more than 6 years of expertise specializing in Mainframe Applications Development, complemented by an additional 2 years as a QA Engineer. Throughout my professional journey, I have undertaken diverse responsibilities covering the entire spectrum of the software development lifecycle. These responsibilities encompassed tasks such as requirement analysis, design, unit testing, documentation, as well as support and maintenance activities.
My proficiency is deeply rooted in a range of Mainframe technologies, including COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, and VSAM. I have played a pivotal role in Mainframe Applications Development and maintenance, particularly within the banking sector, with a focused emphasis on credit card issuing.
Over the course of my career, I have acquired hands-on experience with several critical tools and technologies, including SQL (SPUFI, QMF), CA File Master, INFOMAN, ENDEVOR, and debugging tools such as INTERTEST. In this project, I was part of the Billing Domain team for AT&T, a leading telecom firm. Specifically, I worked in the Usage Processing Team, which involved tasks such as processing usage data, rating, pricing, and more. This project encompassed the handling of Local Call Processing, Toll Call Processing, and Long-Distance Call Processing.
My responsibilities in this project included both maintaining and enhancing the existing system, along with documenting the results of our work. This project provided me with valuable experience in the telecom industry, particularly in the billing and call processing aspects.
