My Role: SE (Senior Mainframe Programmer & Offshore Coordinator)

In this project, I was engaged with First Data Corporation, now known as Fiserv,American payment processing company responsible for managing transactions for various US and international financial institutions. The project's primary focus was on enhancing and maintaining a complex Mainframe-based system that operated in both batch and online environments. My responsibilities included:

• Requirements Analysis: Conducting a comprehensive analysis of requirements gathered from Business Analysts.
• Detailed Design: Active participation in the detailed design process for the application, contributing to its effective structure and architecture.
• Code Testing: Rigorously testing code changes to ensure they met the specified functional and technical requirements, guaranteeing the software's reliability and performance.
• Offshore Coordination: Collaborating with an offshore team to ensure the delivery of high-quality deliverables related to the application.
• Application Development : I played an active role in application development and closely collaborated with the Development team to verify and validate the business functionalities within the Product Control file application.
• Regression Testing: Conducting thorough regression testing of the application to identify and rectify any potential issues.
• On-Time Module Delivery: Ensuring the on-time delivery of project modules, with a strong emphasis on achieving the desired level of quality.

• Onsite Coordinator cum Application Analyst: I served as an onsite coordinator, overseeing project activities and acting as an application analyst
• Offshore Work Allocation and Capacity Management: I was responsible for allocating tasks to the offshore team and managing their workload to ensure efficient project execution
• Application Development: I actively participated in application development, contributing to medium-level design preparations based on the Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM)
• Full Lifecycle Involvement: I was engaged in all phases of the project lifecycle, including Analysis, Design, complex coding, Testing, Implementation, and post-implementation support, starting from the initial stages
• Documentation: I prepared both technical and functional documents to ensure comprehensive documentation of the project's processes and requirements

My Role: ASE (Programmer in Mainframe)

In this project, I was part of the Billing Domain team for AT&T, a leading telecom firm. Specifically, I worked in the Usage Processing Team, which involved tasks such as processing usage data, rating, pricing, and more. This project encompassed the handling of Local Call Processing, Toll Call Processing, and Long-Distance Call Processing.

My responsibilities in this project included both maintaining and enhancing the existing system, along with documenting the results of our work. This project provided me with valuable experience in the telecom industry, particularly in the billing and call processing aspects.
