Started my construction career working with a family ran general construction company.

Responsibilities included

• General labor in all aspects of home building
• Operating heavy machinery for demolition of homes garages, and removing and replacing concrete driveways
• Completing jobs to the level of quality expected by the owners
• Started gaining skills related to all aspects of construction and knowledge of how and when projects needed to be done and in what order to be as efficient as possible

General contractor managing subs and doing work with and for other contractors.

• Building new and remodeling existing residential houses and commercial work
• Experience with and completing all aspects in homes, Framing, roofing, siding, doors and windows, hardwood/laminate/tile flooring, trim installation and manufacturing, electrical, plumbing, hvac, drywall and most other requirements for completing projects.
• Owned and operated a cabinet shop producing kitchen cabinets, vanities, trimwork - new profile and historical matching and replicating, and furniture.
• Managed and coordinated subs to complete projects in a timely manner
• Worked with homeowners to design and create their projects to fall within their budgets and time requirements

Worked as the lead finish carpenter for a commercial contractor.

Responsibilities included

• Leading a team to complete commercial build outs after drywall was installed and painted
• Fabricated and installed custom doors, windows, trim, and finishes
• Worked with and coordinated other subs on site to create scheduling plan
• Learned advanced painting and finishing skills for paint and wood finishs
